Carbon & Wood

Residential Kitchen & Dining Restoration

Designing a kitchen means finding the exact balance between engineering and emotion. This project was born from the client's vision to break away from the property's original architectural aesthetic upon acquisition, posing the challenge of transforming the space through a high-end minimalist design that balances a bold, modern aesthetic with absolute functionality.

The color palette was established as the central axis of the proposal. After exploring several variations, we opted for the boldness of matte black in a Carbonio finish to create a block of visual gravity at the heart of the home. This narrative is articulated through contrast, where the industrial severity of the dark fronts is softened by the strategic insertion of natural oak wood in the island and niches, providing the necessary warmth for domestic life.

Technical Millwork

Residential Kitchen & Dining Restoration

One of the most interesting challenges in architectural visualization is when the starting point isn't a clean 3D model — but reality as it is: photographs of the space, approximate dimensions, and the client's vision.

Beyond the visual impact of photorealistic rendering, the viability of a high-end kitchen demands rigorous technical drawings. This section translates the 3D design into 2D documentation, presenting floor plans and detailed millwork layouts. The goal is to provide elevations and dimensions with millimeter precision, ensuring that every custom element—from the island to the niche assembly—can be executed on-site with absolute fidelity to the original design.
